The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 17 months in 45% new French oak, is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Dense purple in color with aromas of cedarwood, unsmoked tobacco, crème de cassis, and black raspberries in a classic St.-Julien/Pauillac style. Sourced from a valley floor vineyard on Napa’s west side, where warm but steady summer temperatures led to a seamless September harvest. Full-bodied and balanced, this wine will reach its peak in 3–5 years and last for 25–30. Production: 1,300 cases. The newest estate vineyard wine from Christian Moueix.
