Deeply concentrated and densely colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon will benefit from further cellaring. While the tannins are ripe and supple, the flavors are still coiled — dark chocolate, mocha, and rich loam dominate, with black cherry and cassis yet to emerge fully. Full-bodied but reserved and elegant, it is the most Bordeaux-like of recent vintages and will reward patience.
